At United Telecare we work to extend independent living by providing a daily telephone contact
service to members of United Telecare's Daily Independent Care Program.
We all have family members we care and worry about, especially aging family members who choose
to live on their own. Our Daily Independent Care Program can help reduce some of your worry
and stress by providing a simple daily phone call to verify that your loved one is okay.
Each day, at a selected time, our friendly operators will call to check in. If they do not
get an answer or find a possible or potential problem, our trained operators will notify a
designated family member or other point of contact.
With our secure on-line client contact information system, call days, call times, contact
persons and even a short daily message can be added or changed by the individual ordering
the service. A history of daily contact activity can also be viewed.
The Daily Independent Care Program can also be used to augment any of the many pendant panic
button systems should there be a chance that the user may:
- Not activate it because "they do not want to bother anyone."
- Not activate it because "they do not think the problem they are experiencing is serious enough."
- Suffer a stroke or other medical condition during the night that would prevent them from activating
their panic button.
- Neglect to wear their panic button when they are up and about.
The Daily Independent Care Program is available throughout the United States and Canada.
Program Cost:
The program is available by the month or by the quarter.
- The monthly rate is $50.00 per month.
- The quarterly rate is $141.00 per quarter (3 months).
